Shibari in Perth
Looking for Shibari Lessons in Perth?
There are a few places in Perth where you can explore Shibari rope.
At Shibari Perth, we encourage people to look around and experience what else is out there.
Personal growth in rope often comes from trying different approaches, learning from different people, and finding what resonates with you.
We don’t believe in “Wayism” What we mean is by the idea that there’s only one true way to tie and do Shibari rope.
The art of Shibari has many styles, each with its own benefits, and it’s important to find the one that fits for you.
Rope is a deeply personal journey, and we’re lucky in Perth to have a handful of venues where people can practise, and at times, learn from different perspectives.
It’s important to know it’s not just about styles of rope, it’s also about the people and the spaces themselves.
Finding “Your rope people”, a place where you feel comfortable, the music, the lighting, the overall vibe, all of this helps shape the experience. Each venue aims to create a welcoming space, but ultimately, it’s about discovering where you feel most at home.
At Shibari Perth, we offer a blend of different styles, drawing from a variety of influences, so people can discover what speaks to them. Plus we host international and instate Shibari artists, keep an eye on our workshops page.
We also host the Ichinawa Style of Shibari which is the Hajime Kinoko Style which is a world wide school. Classes are run once a fortnight, in a traditional structured way. As this school grows hopefully it will also become weekly.
